South Florida's largest market for residential and commercial wine rooms

Wine Cellar Design in Miami, Florida

Every cellar starts as a drawing. We measure the space, work through your collection and how you want to use the room, then come back with a design proposal covering racking, doors, lighting and climate control — so the layout is settled and approved before a single component is cut..

What Miami changes

Miami design work splits between residential and hospitality, and they pull in opposite directions. A Brickell penthouse wants the collection lit and visible from the living room; a restaurant cellar has to survive service and still read well from the dining floor. We design for whichever one you are actually building.

Miami's wine culture has grown dramatically over the past decade, driven by a wave of internationally-minded residents and a world-class restaurant scene. Dragon Cellars serves both ends of this market — private residential clients seeking a statement wine room and restaurant operators who need a cellar that performs as beautifully as it looks.

In Miami, we've worked in high-rise penthouses in Brickell, waterfront estates in Miami Beach, and commercial venues across the Design District and Wynwood. Each project presents unique structural and climate challenges — Miami's humidity and heat require serious refrigeration engineering, not just aesthetic design. Dragon Cellars brings both. From 200-bottle built-ins to walk-in rooms with full climate control and custom display systems, our Miami portfolio reflects the diversity and ambition of the city itself.

Common questions

Do I get to see the design before you build it?
Yes. Every project includes a drawn design proposal showing the layout, racking, lighting, doors and finishes, and nothing is fabricated until you approve it. We do not produce photorealistic 3D renders — the drawings are how the room gets agreed.
How long does the design stage take?
Most designs are ready for review within a few weeks of the initial consultation, depending on the complexity of the space and how quickly measurements and preferences are confirmed.
Can you work with my architect or interior designer?
Regularly. A significant share of our projects are collaborations with architects and designers already working on the property.
