Custom Wine Racks & Racking Systems

Racking is the structure and the aesthetic at once. Ours is made to the room's dimensions rather than assembled from fixed modules, which is what lets a wall of bottles read as a single designed surface instead of a storage unit.

Floating-bottle systems

Slim metal or acrylic supports hold bottles with almost nothing visible around them, so the collection itself becomes the display. Paired with RGB or warm white lighting, it is the signature of the modern rooms we build.

Wood, metal and glass

Traditional wood racking suits warmer, transitional rooms. Lacquered steel and glass suit contemporary interiors. Many projects combine them — wood for bulk storage, metal and glass for the display face.

Built to the millimetre

Every system is fabricated to the measured space, including the awkward ones: under-stair rooms, sloped ceilings, columns and structural returns that off-the-shelf racking cannot absorb.

“I purposefully chose my home to purchase so I could incorporate a "wine wall" to house my collection when I relocated. My son used Dragon Cellars for his personal cellar in his custom home and I knew I had to go the same route. It is fabulous. I have had neighbors take photos and bring their friends to see what a beautiful addition it is to my home. The attention to detail is what made me choose Dragon Cellars and the entire staff went out of their way to build it to perfection. I am more than pleased with the result!”

Common questions

How many bottles can custom racking hold?
Our projects start at 200 bottles and run past 5,000 in a full room. Below 200 we do not build: a quality cabinet or wine refrigerator does that job better and for far less, and we will tell you so rather than take the project. The racking is designed around the capacity you need and the space available.
Can racking include space for magnums and large formats?
Yes. Large-format bays, case storage and display niches are planned into the design rather than retrofitted.
Is lighting part of the racking?
It is designed with it. Integrated LED lighting — warm white or RGB — is specified alongside the racking so the wiring and fixtures disappear into the structure.
