Dragon Cellars was founded in Spain in 2007 with a clear mission: to deliver fully custom, turnkey wine cellar projects of the highest caliber. What began with traditional wood designs quickly evolved into bold modern concepts featuring RGB and warm white LED lighting, and wine racking systems crafted from steel, glass, and acrylic. Years of intense R&D and an exceptional client satisfaction record established Dragon Cellars as a market leader in exclusive custom wine cellars and wine rooms for the luxury residential and commercial markets.
Today, Dragon Cellars is proudly based in Southern Florida, where all design, fabrication, and installation takes place. The same uncompromising standards that defined the company from the beginning are fully realized here — with a dedicated local team of experts in general contracting, refrigeration, and installation working seamlessly together to bring each project to life.
Led by CEO and Master Designer Al Fuentes alongside General Manager Marisol Lecuna, Dragon Cellars remains 100% custom. Every wine cellar is designed from the ground up — wine racking, cabinetry, and furniture included — tailored precisely to what each client values and needs.

Al Fuentes
Founder & Custom Wine Cellar Designer

Al Fuentes, originally from New York with Spanish parents, started his career in aircraft maintenance before retiring from the US Air Force in 1995. He founded Dragon Cellars in 2007, specializing in luxury custom wine cellars, and expanded the business to Miami in 2014. With 15 years of experience, he has designed exclusive wine solutions in six countries and worked with Michelin-starred restaurants in Spain.
Marisol Lecuna
General Manager

Maria Lecuna, originally from Caracas, Venezuela, is a System Engineer with an MBA. She began her career at CEMEX, later holding various roles in IT, HR, Marketing, and Facilities Management in Spain. In 2013, she joined Dragon Cellars, leading its successful expansion to the US as General Manager, overseeing Logistics, Financing, and Marketing.

With a B.S. in Architecture and over 12 years of experience in architecture, interior and furniture design, and project management, she has developed strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Her expertise in design and management is complemented by her attention to detail and reliability. A motivating, hardworking, and detail-oriented professional.
Geoff Pearce
Wine Cellar Technical Project Manager | 10+ Years in Wine Storage Solutions
With 10+ years in the wine cellar industry, Geoff oversees every technical dimension of each project — from climate-control engineering to custom installation — working alongside architects and designers to ensure every cellar is as functional as it is exceptional.
