Dragon Cellars was founded in Spain in 2007 in order to provide the market with turnkey custom wine cellar projects. Initial styles, more traditional and mostly made of wood, quickly transitioned to new modern designs with special RGB / Warm White led lighting, created with various materials, mostly steel, glass and acrylic for wine racking systems. After years of intense activity, R&D and extremely satisfied clients the company achieved market leadership. Dragon Cellars has the most exclusive custom wine cellars and wine rooms for the high-end residential and commercial markets. The company is 100% custom, actually designing each wine cellar project including wine racking and furniture specifically for what the client values and needs.
Dragon Cellars is an established firm in Southern Florida, applying their vast experience and same company focus providing the best in personalized service. The CEO, Al Fuentes, acting as Master Designer/Consultant and Marisol Lecuna General Manager have consolidated their team of local experts (general contractor, refrigeration, installers etc…) that can provide everything needed for beautiful and luxurious cellar projects. To maintain the highest of acquired standards, the majority of the wine racking systems will be imported from our fabrication shops in Madrid, Spain.

Al Fuentes
Founder & Custom Wine Cellar Designer
Al Fuentes, originally from New York with Spanish parents, started his career in aircraft maintenance before retiring from the US Air Force in 1995. He founded Dragon Cellars in 2007, specializing in luxury custom wine cellars, and expanded the business to Miami in 2014. With 15 years of experience, he has designed exclusive wine solutions in six countries and worked with Michelin-starred restaurants in Spain.
Marisol Lecuna
General Manager
Maria Lecuna, originally from Caracas, Venezuela, is a System Engineer with an MBA. She began her career at CEMEX, later holding various roles in IT, HR, Marketing, and Facilities Management in Spain. In 2013, she joined Dragon Cellars, leading its successful expansion to the US as General Manager, overseeing Logistics, Financing, and Marketing.
Aurora Murillo
Project Director
With a B.S. in Architecture and over 12 years of experience in architecture, interior and furniture design, and project management, she has developed strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Her expertise in design and management is complemented by her attention to detail and reliability. A motivating, hardworking, and detail-oriented professional.

With over 10 years of experience in the wine cellar industry, I specialize in managing the design,
engineering, and installation of high-end wine storage systems for residential, commercial, and
hospitality clients. My expertise includes climate-controlled solutions, custom cellars, and
advanced HVAC, humidity, and lighting technologies.
I work closely with architects, designers, and winemakers to deliver tailored projects that meet
both aesthetic and functional needs. My focus is always on creating environments that preserve
and enhance wine collections, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and design.
Known for my hands-on leadership and commitment to excellence, I have a proven track record
of delivering projects on time and within budget. I am passionate about sustainable practices
and staying at the forefront of industry innovations
