Designer Wine Care Solutions

Wine Cellar Contractors

Most wine cellars involve a designer, a cabinet maker, a refrigeration contractor and a general contractor, and the gaps between them are where projects go wrong. We do all of it, so there is one drawing set, one schedule and one company accountable for the result.

One team, one set of drawings

Design, fabrication, climate engineering and installation sit under the same roof. Nobody is working from someone else's assumptions, and nothing falls between trades.

Residential and commercial

Private homes, condominiums and high-rises, plus restaurant and hospitality cellars where the room has to perform under service conditions and look right from the dining room.

Nearly two decades of built work

Founded in 2007 and building continuously since, with projects across South Florida, Spain and the Caribbean — and more than eighty of them documented in our founder's book.

“Dragon Cellars did a fine job in completing our Wine Room on time and on budget. Worked with the initial designer to select colors and finishes, very nice to see it go from concept to reality. The General Contractor was also good to work with, when he was presented with obstacles he quickly found a solution. End result is a beautiful wine room with excellent follow up from Dragon.”

Common questions

Do you work as a subcontractor to a general contractor?
Regularly. We coordinate with the builder and the design team already on the project, and take responsibility for the cellar scope within it.
Do you work outside South Florida?
We have delivered projects in Spain, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela alongside our Florida work. Scope and logistics are assessed case by case.
What does a custom wine cellar cost?
It depends on size, racking type, glazing and climate equipment — a cabinet and a glass-walled room are different orders of magnitude. The consultation establishes a realistic range before any design work starts.
