Wine Cellar Installation
Installation is where a design either holds up or unravels. We prepare the space, install the racking and climate equipment, finish the room and hand it over working — rather than delivering components for someone else to assemble.
The room is prepared first
Insulation, vapour barrier, electrical and any structural work come before the racking arrives. Skipping this is the most common reason a cellar never holds its conditions.
One team through to handover
Racking, doors, glazing, lighting and cooling are installed by people who know the drawings, which keeps responsibility in one place when something needs adjusting on site.
Delivered running
The cooling system is commissioned and the room brought to condition before handover, so the collection can move in rather than wait.
Recent work
“I had an amazing experience with Al and the team at Dragon Cellars! They took on a big project for us and turned our dining room into a stunning custom wine cellar with temperature control. Seriously, the attention to detail was incredible! Everyone on the team was not only professional but also super friendly, making the whole process enjoyable. If you want to create a special space to showcase your wines, I can't recommend Dragon Cellars enough. They truly are the best!”
Common questions
- How long does installation take?
- It depends on the scope. A cabinet can be placed in a day; a full climate-controlled room with glazing and custom racking runs considerably longer, and the schedule is set once the design is approved.
- Do you handle the construction work too?
- We handle the cellar: insulation, vapour barrier, racking, glazing, lighting and climate. Where broader construction is involved we coordinate with the builder already on site.
- What happens after installation?
- The cooling system is commissioned and the room brought to temperature. Optional semi-annual maintenance keeps it there.
